About
Our company was established in 1925
The mission of Ring Bros. Wholesale is to responsibly source the highest quality fresh produce and specialty foods for chefs and retailers on Cape Cod and in Southeastern Massachusetts.
The company got its start more than 95 years ago; Stephen Ring Sr, a teenager, and his older brother, Edmund, peddled produce from a horse-drawn wagon along the streets of Boston. “Sweet, juicy peaches!” Stephen would yell as he pulled up to a street corner. “Quarter a dozen!” Later, Stephen would take his sons, Ed and Stephen Ring Jr., along to help.
The Rings built a devoted customer base by hand selecting the finest fruits and vegetables from farmers locally, and from farms worldwide that shared their standards for sustainable agricultural practices and quality.
With these values in mind, Ed Ring opened the first permanent wholesale and retail location of Ring Bros. on Cape Cod in the 1970s in Harwich and a specialty store, Broadway Marketplace, near Harvard Square in 1992. Ring Bros. moved from Harwich to its current location in South Dennis in 2001 where it is now owned and operated by Ed, his wife Susan, and his son, Patrick.
The South Dennis location offers 16,000 square feet of retail space and expanded capacity for wholesale operations. We invite you to visit our specialty retail store and to tour our cutting edge wholesale facility at 485 Route 134 in South Dennis, Cape Cod!
